
For years I avoided Dan Lok like the plague. In the past, whenever I saw his ads as I scrolled through my social feeds I felt like he had to be a Charlatan. It looked like he was trying too hard to appear to be a mogul.
I still think he looks like he’s trying too hard.
BUT… I finally watched one of his videos and was pleasantly surprised. I’m now officially a Dan Fan (not sure if that’s a thing).
In this video he shares insightful tips that will help you improve your sales process. Note, it’s 27 total words, not 27 tips. A couple of my favorite of his phrases to avoid are:
- “Sorry to bother you”
- “Just following up”
In general, you should avoid phrases that remind people that they were trying to ignore you. Or, that whatever you want them to do wasn’t important enough to make it onto their list of priorities the first time around.
